Case study · Florist since 1950 · website redesign and online shop
A new online home for a Cape Town florist: customers can find the right bouquet, send an enquiry and check out easily on phone or computer.

The brief.
Alison's had a WordPress and WooCommerce shop built with a page builder that had become hard to manage. Some pages showed an old design, product photos didn't load, product pages were awkward on mobile and the basket didn't always work. They wanted a fresh look that tells their real story, and a shop that works.

What we did.
01New website design
A new home page and shop in Alison's colours, with a photo banner for each flower category and a bloom animation on the home page photo.
02Easier online shop
We restyled the product, basket and checkout pages, with a two-column checkout on computers that keeps the order summary in view.
03Enquiries that land in the right inbox
Forms for weddings, corporate and kids parties, plus a quote request for flower subscriptions, all sent from and to the shop's own email address.
04Pages that tell their story
New About, Contact, Weddings, Corporate, Kids parties and Gifts + Hampers pages, with the shop's history from Kenilworth Main Road to Wynberg to Constantia.
05Found on Google
We fixed the product listing errors flagged in Google Search Console and added the shop's business details so it shows up properly in local searches.

The result.
Alison's now has a website the team is proud of and can manage themselves.
